Re-Connection at Waterstone Gallery (runs 4/2 - 4/30) showcases new works by artist Erin Leichty exploring narratives of loss and discovery. Writings submitted by local authors are buried in her works (including mine). The month is full of events by storytellers, poets, healers, and writers.
My event will explore re-connecting with joy and beauty after journeying through loss. Using poems of hope as a seedbed for exploration, attendees will be given writing prompts to explore their own journeys of loss and see where joy and beauty is beginning to bloom (or already thriving) in their lives. No writing experience necessary—just a curious heart. All are welcome!
Check out Erin Leichty Modern Art for further information on the amazing events offered or drop by anytime during the month to experience Erin's art and, if you like, share your story on a massive chalkboard. A selection of my poems will be on display. Hope to see you on the 30th!
